Pemberton Visitors Centre is open 9am - 5pm daily and offers tourist information, free booking service, maps and guides, tickets and tours, Transwa booking service, Souvenirs, Clothing and gifts, Wedding and Honeymoon Guide and the Historical Museum.

Make sure you allow yourselves 3-4 days to see at least some of our local natural delights.

Wines, Truffles and Trout - Pemberton and Manjimup offer a wide variety of cooler-climate premium wines and the Wine and Truffle Co. also specialise in the now famous Manjimup Truffles which can be enjoyed at their excellent restaurant, open for lunch daily.

King Trout - catch a fish and the wonderful staff will prepare it for your lunch.  Or take home some of the delicious smoked trout delicacies prepared here.

Donnelly River Cruises - Multi-award winning boat cruise down the pristine Donnelly River takes 31 passengers. This four hour tour operates daily.

See the karri forest by tramway travelling over many streams and brooks on wooden trestle bridges. The tram goes twice daily.

Jams and preserves made from home-grown fruit and berries, sauces, oils, lotions, creams and toiletries are all available and all made here in Pemberton.

Wetting A Line

  • Pemberton's rivers and streams abound with trout, perch and marron.  Inquire at the Tourist Centre for licences and seasonal information. Guides are available to teach you fly or beach fishing and take you to secret locations.

Climbing Trees

  • Visitors will enjoy the thrill of climbing one of the three climbing trees in the area - the Gloucester Tree, where the birds will come and eat seeds from your hands, the Bicentennial Tree and the Diamond Tree. The Beedelup Falls and Big Brook Dam are also worth a visit.

  • Within an hour's drive from Donnelly Lakes you can find long stretches of secluded white beach, which offer exceptional surf, fishing and four-wheel-driving experiences. You are within leisurely day drives of Margaret River, Augusta, Nannup, Manjimup, Denmark and Walpole with the famous Tree Top Walk.

  • There is something for everyone, from the local award-winning wineries and cafes which offer you an excellent choice of meals,  to the many art galleries and craft shops.
